R3VOLUTION project is taking first steps

The R3VOLUTION project is making significant strides in its mission to revolutionize industrial water management. With the initial research phase underway, the team has successfully developed some first treatment trains. In addition, project partners completed their first deliverables, marking a pivotal moment in the project’s timeline.

These deliverables, identified as “D1.1 Characterization of sites streams”, which is a report on physical and chemical characterization of upstream and/or downstream streams to be valorised within the project for the industrial sites (petrochemical, bio-based chemical, pulp & paper, steel, mining), “D6.1 Communication and dissemination strategy and synergies plan version 1”, “D6.2 Corporate identity and general communication material”, “D7.1 Project management manual”, “D7.2 Risk management plan version 1”, and “D7.5 Data management plan version 1” encompass the foundational research and early results that will steer the course of the project.

As the team prepares for the next project meeting scheduled for October 2024 in Greece and hosted by project partner CERTH, there is a palpable sense of momentum. The gathering aims to refine strategies, discuss progress, and set the stage for the subsequent phases of research. This collaborative effort not only signifies the project’s commitment to innovation but also its dedication to delivering tangible solutions that address the complexities of modern industrial water management.
